What does it mean to live wild?

To live wild really just means to live free. There is no guide on how this is achieved because freedom means something different to all of us. It could be something as simple as taking a walk in the park on a Sunday morning or taking a day off of work to sit around and binge Netflix. It could also be something more extreme like living off the grid in the middle of nowhere. That is the beauty of living wild. It means whatever you want it to mean. The best part is that it's free and available to everyone. The only thing you must do is choose it.

The way that I look at freedom in my own life is when my mind, body and spirit are able to experience life in an uncensored and unfiltered way. I have found that the best way for me to achieve this is to spend time in nature. There are no billboards dictating what I think about. There are no sidewalks controlling the direction that I move. There is just simply the the world and me.

I value learning and understanding who I am and why I am the way that I am more than I value any material item on this planet. We live in a world where we are shaped and molded by our surroundings and most of us live in cities or towns. I am not here to tell you that society is bad or anything like that but more to reflect that when we live within a society very few of our ideas or thoughts are truly ours. Most of them come from others. If I am on a journey of self understanding then how am I supposed to understand myself if most of what I hear and see is what society wants me to hear and see? That is why I love nature so much. There is no agenda being pushed its just life in its purest form.

I shared what living wild means to me not to narrow the focus on this lifestyle to what it should or can be but rather to shine light on the benefit that I have personally experienced from it. My hope is that everyone is able to find their version of living wild and make it a part of their daily life. I truly think that its more important now than it have ever has been to live wild. Find your wild and you will find your freedom.
